Sample photographs for Outrigger Resorts and Honolulu Cookie Company.

Outrigger Resorts – The first eight photos are examples of flat artwork reproduction. These Sig Zane prints were water-damaged and stored incorrectly by hotel staff. I photographed the originals in high resolution and digitally restored the discoloration and damage. With Sig Zane’s permission, Outrigger used my photos to create a new set of prints for their Kona resort.

Please note the consistent exposure across the entire artwork. I set my white value at 7% gray to preserve the texture of the white paint on the canvas, ensuring every detail is visible.

Honolulu Cookie Company – I have photographed products for HCC for 12 years, averaging 12–14 shoot days per year. The photographs highlight my lighting techniques to sculpt volume and texture in three-dimensional objects. These images were reproduced as 8-foot, floor-to-ceiling posters. I photograph with a Fujifilm GFX100 digital camera. The 102MP medium-format sensor outputs files at 11,413 X 8,560 pixels at 300 dpi (280 MB). Even at the largest reproduction sizes, there is no loss of image quality, sharpness, or detail.
